Versa 4 stuck on "Set up your Wallet"

Why do I keep getting a message to double tap to set up contactless pay?  I've updated the settings and everything else I can find.  Annoying!

Hi there, @AL1029. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post. I understand how you must be feeling. 

Usually that screen will appear when opening the wallet app on your watch by either tapping on it or with left button to access to the shortcuts. While it's not possible to delete the wallet app, please give a try to the following steps to reconnect your watch to your account:

  1. Remove the Versa 4 from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  3. Restart your watch.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile picture > Set Up a Device.
  5. Select the Versa 4 and follow the onscreen instructions.

Additionally, please keep in mind that you can replace the Wallet App shortcut for any other option. To do so, on your Versa 4 swipe to Settings, tap, then swipe to shortcuts. It is here where you can configure what a single and double tap of the button will open. Replace the Wallet App for some other function.

None of that worked. I am including a picture of the message. Seems to be
a glitch in this fit bit. Is there a warranty so I can return it?

I have the same problem and find it also very annoying. I am going to try the solutions mentioned above but if this doesn’t help I would also like to change to the fitbit charge 4. I was very happy with that watch for almost 3 years.

 I tried the options you suggested without a fix.  I've attached a screenshot of the message I keep getting and my watch is set to Alexa for my shortcut.   If this is a defect that can't be fixed can I do an exchange?

I was on chat with Fitbit yesterday about this subject on the Versa 4. It appears they know about the issue with inaccessibilty to Google Wallet and do not have a fix for the near future.

Thank you. However the problem is not that I cannot pay with Versa 4 (however that’s annoying too) but that I keep getting message when I move my wrist, asking me whether I want to pay…
