Versa 4 stuck on the Fitbit logo

My screen started going black so I was restarting it to see if that would help. It did but then it showed my battery as dead. I would charge it and it would get to 75% in about 5 minutes. Then it would die again because obviously it never charged to 75% in 5 minutes. I would leave it on the charger long enough that it should have had a full charge. Then the screen went black again and I tried to restart it. Now it will vibrate when I try to restart it but then I get a flashing screen behind the Fitbit logo which according to Google means that it is failing the startup sequence. There is no reason that this is occurring to a Fitbit that is only been used for 2 years.

Hi there, @Pjthepig. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is not charging properly and not connecting anymore. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Please note that there are some issues that affect this, being which power source is used and how clean the contacts are and how well the charger is seated. If you are charging your Versa 4 on the wall socket, try using another CE certified USB adapter for low energy devices.

If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend following the tips and recommendations provided here Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

If after trying the above you are still getting the Fitbit logo, please see Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
