Versa 4 switching off even though is charged

My Fitbit Versa 4 keeps switching off even though the watch is showing as charged in the app. The watch will only turn back on after connecting to the charging cable and then shows it is already charged. This is so frustrating as it happens when I am out for a walk or run and stops logging it and I also have no time displayed.

I have been resetting for weeks now. I once got the Versa4 to work after many many resets, letting the battery drain and powering up to 100%. It just wont return to its old sef. Another poster mentioned how interesting all of our FitBit Versas stopped working after the latest update. Anyone hear anything new from the company besides buy a new one?

This has been driving me nuts now for a few days so I am happy (not happy) to see its affecting other people as well. Clearly not a user issue but something Google/fitbit have done with their S/W.

I did chat with support about the issue, they have been very quick to say they will replace the device so just waiting on that process to take its course. We did the standard fixes of power off, reset etc and the reset actually made it worse in that it wouldn't stay on for more than 10 seconds at a time.

What is the warranty period, 1 year?

My wife, who bought the Versa4 for me, claims it's two years if bought in the UK. I wish you the best of luck getting a response from Fit-Bit/Google. So far my inquiries have gone unanswered.

Make that 16. Mines has been like this for the past 4 or 5 days now. Its so frustrating. The watches aren't exactly cheap to buy.

Add me to the list.  It is ridiculous that all the versa stopped working right and they are refusing to help.  This is my 3rd Fitbit and have always raved about them. I will never recommend anyone buying a Fitbit.

This is my 2nd Versa 4 as they replaced the first one. And then a previous 2 before that all and similar issues. Like you have moved too a non fit bit. I feel customer services just fob me off. They've offered me 35% discount. But I can't justify such a large expense like that even with the discount.

You got a response from CS? Radio silence at this end. I have my suspicions that Google bought Fit-Bit just to take them off the market so they can sell their own brand. I won't have another Fit-Bit branded product nor a Google product based on their less than lack luster CS performance.

I got mine replaced immediately to be fair.
And touch wood no further issues.
