Versa 4 sync of water based activities

My Versa 4 does not sync water based activities to Strava. Please advise why?
At least kayaking & paddle boarding activities can be downloaded and uploaded to Strava, but swimming can not be downloaded.

I thought all of these were GPS activities.

Please advise how to fix.

@BikegirlHelen   Fitbit's swimming shortcut is programmed for pool swimming, not open water swimming.  GPS isn't available on the swim settings.
