Just received a Versa 4. Had a Versa 2 and swam with it. Is the 4 the same?

@Smpower911 it is Water Resistant up to the equivalent pressure of 50 meters, or 5 ATM.
This means that it is good for shallow swimming, no hot tubs / Spas with water jets. Also no strong currents.
The watch is water resistant, not waterproof. Since the 1960's it has been illegal to rate a watch as waterproof since at some depth, or conditions, the seals will fail.

Hi @Smpower911 - as you have just got it there will be no problems swimming with it for 10 months because if it fails it can be replaced under warranty.
As some watch seals aren't so robust and they can deteriorate over time it could be a risk after that.

And my response is after reading it was resistant I’ve been in the pool several times with it on, doing laps, etc. No problems.

Yes, my last one was under warranty and they sent me a new one, however, FitBit doesn’t “warranty the warranty” LOL So, I just had to buy a Versa 4 🤷:female_sign:
