I neglected to charge my versa4 and the charge went down to 2%.  After recharge the watch will not reconnect with my fitbit app on my samsung note 9 phone and it the connection shows empty battery even if the watch shows 90 % charge.  I  have already :Turned off phone/ watch/ bluetooth.  Uninstalled fitbit app on phone and put back again etc. etc   I have had my V4 for 3 years +.   I thought Í knew all about it, this baffles me completely.

Hi there, @lallasæta. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is not connecting to your Samsung Note 9 anymore. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As a first approach, I'd recommend checking if your mobile device meets the requirements to properly operate with your Fitbit device. For more information, see Fitbit Compatible Devices.

In addition to the steps you've done, please try the following in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 4 from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 4 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.

If you can't get started with your Versa 4, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Regarding the battery level on the Fitbit app, please note that it updates every time you sync. That means that if your Versa 4 hasn't synced yet, your app will still show the battery percentage of the last sync.
