Versa 4 won't connect to my iPhone's Bluetooth

Bluetooth can’t find Versa 4 … Have tried everything and it’s the same… deleted the app. Downloaded the app again. Restarted Versa 4 and Bluetooth still won’t pick it up… Got iPhone 12… Software up to date but still won’t work…Any help will be appreciated…..

Hi @Welshy04 - to check if the Bluetooth on the watch is working have a look at this option What should I do if I lose my Fitbit device? It could be a watch fault. You can always chat with support via the Fitbit App Help & support option.

Hi there, @Welshy04. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 won't connect to your iPhone 12 anymore. Thank you so much for taking the time to troubleshoot the issue before posting here, I'll be glad to continue assisting you. 

In addition to the steps you've done so far, please try the following:

  • Unpair your Versa 4 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 4.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.
  • Once your Versa 4 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again. 


With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
