Versa 4 won't connect to my new Pixel 8

I have just moved from iOS to android again after a long period specially for the pixel 8 but I can't even get this to work. why do they make it so hard sometimes, I never encountered these issues with iOS. Please tell me someone has the solution. I have reset my new phone, I have reset the versa 4, I have turned it on and off. It seems ridiculous.

Hi @Dayna_jay22 - this is a problem with the Android new V4 Fitbit App, currently no solution. It may work using your iPhone to get you started?

If it is a new watch you can always request a refund and move to something else.

Wouldn't connect to my iOS device either, do I took it back to the store I purchased it from. They gave me a new device and it's now all connected to my pixel 8 perfectly. No issues now
