Versa 4 won't connect to my phone after a factory reset

I did a factory reset on my V4 today. It won't let me reconnect to my app or my phone. What should I do? My phone is also an Android

Hi there, @Country_girl17. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is not connecting to your phone anymore. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Please note that the difficulty you are having to set up your Versa 4 usually happens when you perform a factory reset without first unpairing the watch. In order to solve this issue, I'd recommend trying the steps below:

  • Remove your Versa 4 from your Fitbit account and unpair it from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa 4 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.
