Versa 4 won't display 4 digit code to reset

Versa 4 showing logo, following reset instructions a few times sometimes would get red x. On reset via phone app would get message to type in 4 digit code but can't get Versa to display anything other than logo or X. Moved account from Fitbit to Google, uninstalled and reinstalled Fitbit app on Android phone, and now phone doesn't find Versa 4 to connect. Purchased the Versa under 2 years ago, is it done and for electronic disposal at this point? I've had Fitbits since they were just the clip-ons, this is the worst one yet. 😭

Thank you for taking the time to share with me this information regarding the issue that you are experiencing with Versa 4. Thank you for trying to fix it on your own.

Please, try to follow the steps listed below:

1. Sync the device in the Fitbit app.

  • From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap Devices.
  • Chooose the Versa 4.
  • Tap Sync Now.

2. If Sync Now doesn’t show an update banner:

  • Tap the Devices icon.
  • Tap Versa 4.
  • Tap Gallery. The app should show a pop up to install the missing apps and recover the device.

3. Restart your device: Press and hold the button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, and then release the button.

1. Can't Sync as the app is requesting a code which is to be displayed on the Versa and the only thing displaying on my Versa4 is a blank screen or the Fitbit blue logo.

2.When I restart the Versa4 get the Fitbit log and then black screen.

Is there anywhere to get Fitbits repaired, is it even worth it or just put my Versa 4 in the garbage?
