My Versa 4 was set up to my account. Then stopped syncing. I removed it from account and tried to re-establish.

I Have followed all the troubleshoot advice but 3 days in and still my account / phone does not find Versa 4.

Hi there, @Senga42. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 4 before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you've done and before considering the factory reset (as @Talahthas has recommended), please try the following in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 4 from your phone's Bluetooth (or make sure it's no longer showing up there) and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 4.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.
  • Once your Versa 4 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Welcome back to the Fitbit community, @Senga42!

Please make sure to reset your device to factory settings whenever you set it up from scratch. To do so, first open settings on your Versa 4. Then tap on About Versa 4. Finally tap on Factory Reset and confirm.

Good grief. Can you work with your programming staff to fix the Versa 4 pairing issue? None of my other bluetooth devices lose pairing but the Versa 4 does so REGULARLY! And re-pairing it becomes a lengthy game of chance. Just fix it!
