Versa 4 won't receive WhatsApp text messages

I have just bought a new Versa 4.

I have set up to enable WhatsApp notifications but only WhatsApp calls are being received.

If I receive a call via WhatsApp the watch vibrates but when I receive a WhatsApp message the watch does nothing.

Can anyone help with this issue as WhatsApp messages are the main notification I require?

Normal text messages come through on the watch fine.

Hi there, @DanFisk83. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your new Versa 4 is not receiving WhatsApp text messages. I will do my best to help you! 

Please note that since you're setting up WhatsApp notification, you'll need to receive a message from the app desired in order for your app to show it as an option in your Fitbit notification's section. For example, tell someone to send you a WhatsApp, then check your Fitbit app and you'll see that WhatsApp is already an option to be selected.

If the above doesn't help, may I know if you have had another Fitbit device prior the Versa 4? If so, did you unpair it from your phone's Bluetooth settings?

Hi @MarreFitbit 

@Thank you for your response. I have already received a WhatsApp message & it shows as an option in the Fitbit notifications section. I have enabled to receive notifications from WhatsApp.

When I receive a call via WhatsApp, it comes through via the watch, however when I receive a WhatsApp message, it does not show on the watch.

This is the first Fitbit that I have had, I did unpair it and repair it to my phone in the hope it  might start receiving WhatsApp messages but it didn’t work.

Do you have any other suggestions as I really need the watch to show/notify me when I receive a WhatsApp message?
