Hi @Suek19 - firstly pull down on the watch face to get to Quick Settings and turn off all the icons, then with the watch display on hold the watch button for 10 seconds till the display blanks or it vibrates, release and wait for the logo to appear and it to start.
What you may have been seeing was an Always On display.

Hi there, @Suek19. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to sort this inconvenience out and the image attached to explain the better what you're experiencing. We'll be glad to assisting you with this!
As @Guy_ has mentioned, please check if your Versa 4 has enabled "Always-On" display feature, as it will only show you the time on the main screen all the time, unless you press the button of your watch to see other features and stats. If Always-On is enabled, to exit this mode, turn your wrist toward you, press the button, or double-tap the display. For more information, see How do I see the time on my Fitbit device?
