Hi @Dottif - try restarting the watch by holding the watch button for 10 seconds till it blanks or vibrates and wait for the logo to appear and for it to start.
To check if the watch has a fault, swipe the face left and tap on Steps and scroll to HR there. If it is not showing the watch probably has a fault and can be replaced under warranty.
As a last resort a factory reset may help fix it.
If you see HR correctly in the Today view try changing clock face.
