For at least a week or so I've been receiving notifications but whether it is Whatsapp or Gmail I only get the sender's name. I can't read any of the message. It seems to choose the appropriate quick replies though. I've tried restarting phone, Fitbit, checking settings (I don't have a preview message option but all notifications are set to allow), no updates to do. Would appreciate any help.

Hi there, @Olivia32. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is not showing the body of your text notifications. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
Can't you see the preview messages on your phone's settings? Are you using an Android device? Have you checked on WhatsApp or Gmail settings that the preview messages are enabled? To check this on WhatsApp, please try the following:
For Gmail notifications, try the following:

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately those setings are not the menus I have on my android device. I do have high priority for WhatsApp already turned on though. Gmail does not have a reading pane option on my phone and not sure how that would help my Fitbit.
However the problem seems wider. When I start an exercise I can see the heart rate, calories and scroll through but the values are blank. It's tracking heart rate as it changes form vigorous to low etc but where the number usually is it's blank.

Think it's solved. Chose the mirror my phone notifications button and then did another shutdown and phone restart. Thanks
