After reading old posts on the topic of the Versa 4 losing Bluetooth connectivity on a regular basis it seems there has not been a technical fix for the issue. Only a constant repeat by "moderator support" to follow troubleshooting steps which only work once then we have to repeat the steps again.
"With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone."
I have followed the described steps in the forums and even factory reset based on other suggestions and the issue still persists. If I can not use any other Bluetooth devices while the versa 4 is trying to maintain connectivity then what good is the versa 4?
Please provide a legitimate fix to this issue otherwise it just proves what the others have commented in these and other forums. What good is this product? The versa 4 is not old tech, so whats the deal?

Hi @Jham111 - the problem isn't the watch, a V4 rewrite of the Fitbit App was released in September 2023 which isn't as robust as the previous V3 release and it can lose connection.
It also seems that this release hasn't been adjusted to be as robust for maintaining connections and while some issues (such phone or other software problems) can possibly be eradicated it is still not yet reliable.
This is an important aspect in the functionality of the watch to be sure to get notifications and sync which Fitbit should have fixed as a matter of priority as it affects many users.

@Guy_ I appreciate the response and it is the challenge with the previous release causing the issue, it's disappointing to hear the Fitbit people have not fixed the issue. I am quite certain, after reading the forums, there are a sufficient enough number of concerns regarding this issue. With any luck it will be corrected soon but with many other software updates, they are slow coming unless there is a ROI. Thanks again for the insight. Here's to "wishing" I can use all aspects of my V4 watch.

@Fitbit monitor How about some information on when this issue will be reviewed and corrected? If this is a known issue and has been for a while, it deserves to be corrected as soon as possible. Let's get it done! thx

I just bought my Versa 4. I am very disappointed with it. The Versa 3 was so much better. I cannot listen to music and track an exercise at the same time. I lose connectivity every time. I hate this watch. If I hadn't just bought it less than a month ago I would find something else. If this doesn't get fixed, then I will be moving on to another tracker after this one.
