Versa 4 won't stay connected to my phone's Bluetooth

My watch Versa 4 looses connection to my iPhone every day. I need to manually reconnect and that makes me crazy. My old Fitbit charge2 never had that problem. Warranty didn’t help. Someone had the same problem and found a solution?

Hi there, @JesperMygind. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your Versa 4. I understand how annoying this can be. I'll be glad to help you!

Please try the following steps in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 4 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 4.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.
  • Once your Versa 4 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again. 

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

That seems like a lot of actions to resolve the issue.  Unfortunately I am having the same issue with my versa 4.  It is only a couple of months old.  I have already tried a couple of the suggested actions but now when my phone scans it doesn't identify the fitbit as an available device to pair with.

The updated app is frustrating, stark color palette and less intuitive to find things.
