Versa 4 won't stay connected to my phone's Bluetooth

Is it just me or is anyone else having a lot of issues with their versa 4? I’m in my 3rd pebble and have had to contact Fitbit several times because it won’t sync with my iPhone. It also doesn’t keep correct sleep or floors.
Just asking as I’m about to send it back and find a different tracker that works better

Hi there, @dmcp. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your Versa 4. I understand how you must be feeling.

To better assist, may I know if you're using the same mobile phone you used with your previous Fitbit devices? If so, is your old Fitbit devices still connected to your phone's Bluetooth settings? If this describes your issue, please try the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 4 and previous Fitbit devices from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 4.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.
  • Set up notifications again.
  • Once your Versa 4 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Regarding the sleep and floors data, may I have more details about it? Is your Versa 4 not tracking any of this data at all? Is your Versa 4 partially recording that data?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

No my current device is the only one still linked to my phone

this seems to be an ongoing problem I’ve worked with Fitbit in several occasions it will then work for a while then starts having issues again this time it’s with my sleep time and syncing

Ive done the disconnect and reconnecting at least 3 times

its just becoming very frustrating this is the only Fitbit I’ve had this many issues with and you all have sent me two new pebbles

I am having the same problem keeping my phone and Versa 4 connected.  It seemed to happen overnight and may have been after an update.  So many steps to fix this problem seems daunting.

I'm having basically the same problem with my Versa 4; it won't sync even though it was basically on top of my phone.  It can keep time and act as an alarm clock... and there is heart monotoring and step counting going on, but that's not being reflected on the phone app.  Also my iPhone is showing that my Versa 4 isn't connected even though everything was working fine last night.

Nevermind, it's mysteriously started working again.

Frustrating for sure. Most of the posts I've seen are concerning I phones,
however mine is an android.

I have had the same problem since adding mine in July. It will stay connected maybe a couple hours, then nothing again. It’s so frustrating.
