How can I get my versa 4 to stay connected to my phone? It connected when I first got it(last weekend) but now when I try to reconnect to Bluetooth it tells me an app is required, I have the fitbit app and all was setup great but now this... how can I fix this?

Hi there, @T_Harper2017. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Versa 4 won't stay connected to your phone's Bluetooth. Thanks for the details provided in your post, I'll do my best to help you with this.

If you haven't done so yet, I'd recommend trying the following steps:

  • Unpair your Versa 4 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 4.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.
  • Set up notifications again.
  • Once your Versa 4 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.
