Versa 4 won't stay connected to my phone's Bluetooth

Does anyone else here have a Fitbit Versa 4 that can give me guidance? The **ahem** thing disconnects from Bluetooth ever other minute and I feel like it’s so much more buggy than the other products out there (I had the charge 5 before this)

Hi @shamang1 - if you are using the new V4 Fitbit App, this could be the problem, not the watch.

Try restarting the watch, logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window (in Android clear the Storage cache and force stop it) and restart the phone too.

Using more than one device with the Fitbit App running can cause problems.

If the steps recommended by @Guy_ don't work, I suggest following the troubleshooting steps provided in this help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If the issue persists, please try the steps below in the order listed: 

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again. 

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

I have the same problem with my samsang s23 ultra. Constantly logging me out meaning I'm unable to reply to messages via the watch. I haven't swapped my account over to Google because I do not use my Google account. I hope that is not the issue. But so far, I am very disappointed compared to my versa 2.
