Versa 4 won't syn anymore with my Fitbit app

Here I am AGAIN! Versa 4 suddenly shut down on .y watch and then the app required a sign in and since then, I'm unable to sync! Very frustrating as this has not been the first time I've experienced issues with various Fitbit watches... This will definitely be the last one I'll ever have, I'm not impressed.

I've tried the various suggestions from a number of help forums but so far, no luck. The app and my mobile search for my Versa 4 and then it say's versa 4 refused connection. I'm unable to see anything on the phone which allows you to decline or allow syncing so I don't understand? I've switched off both items. Re installed the Fitbit app and so on and on and on 😕

Hi there, @Mich01752. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is still not syncing. I understand how you must be feeling, I will do my best to help you with this!

To better assist you, please confirm whether you've tried all tips and recommendations provided here
Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If the issue persists, please try the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

I have also been experiencing sync issues with Versa 4 over the last three months. Data simply gets lost randomly. Like today it has again reduced my calorie count after a gym workout by 400 cals!!! This happens after i logged into app to sync the data and what happens is the watch gets the out of dade data from the app, where it must be the other way round!! This is infuriatingly frustrating. No help from customer service!!! I think I am done with FitBit….
