Versa 4 won't sync unless I restart it

Every morning when I try to sync it says "hold tight syncing" It then won't sync. This has been going on for months. I have tried all the steps that were recommended. It still keeps happening. It is up to date, my iphone is up to date with iOS. I have deleted the app and reinstalled. Not sure what else to do.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi there, @dwshaqdaddy. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 4 before reaching out. 

In addition to the steps you've done, please try the following in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Versa 4 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 4.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.
  • Set up notifications again. 
  • Once your Versa 4 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again. 

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

I have tried your suggestions, but it still won't sync unless I reboot the Versa. It seems like a flaw to me. It used to work just fine and now it is a work around, which you shouldn't have to do on a brand new device.

Same issue - Versa 4 won't sync. Was working great until about a month ago. I've done all the suggested steps but have to continue to do them EVERYTIME I try to sync. HELP!!!!

Mine is the same. Won't sync and it's been like that for months. I am over it and going to buy a Samsung watch and chuck this fitbit in the bin

Fitbit has been bought out by google so I figure they created this problem so we would update to Google. I finally gave in and did the switch to google and now my Versa 4 syncs all the time. NOT COOL FITBIT AND GOOGLE
