Versa 4 won't track my GPS while riding a bike

Has anyone else had this issue? It works fine on walks and hikes but will not track a bike ride. I have tried a factory reset, being sure it's charged etc.

We have only been able to get in touch with the automated support person and that was not helpful. If we can't get this corrected I'd like to know how to exchange my Versa 4.

The Versa 4 has problems with its GPS. If you try to use the quick start on bike rides, it just doesn’t work.  The timer starts, but the GPS has trouble connecting once you start moving.

Try starting the bike ride through the Exercise app.  Press the side button to bring up the menu and scroll to “Exercise”.  Now pick “Bike” and a screen will pop up with “GPS Connecting” and a blue arrow.  Wait for the “GPS Connected” message and then press the arrow to start the ride.  A little circle will go around a bike symbol indicating that the FB is working. Then the stats will come up.  The ride accuracy on mine is poor compared to my Wahoo Bolt bike computer or to an iPhone running an app like Strava. It might be off a half-mile or 20 miles, depending on how the Versa 4 feels that day.  I can no longer rely on the Versa to record miles and have to use a second device.
