Versa 4 won't track my calories accurately

It’s driving me insane.

No matter how many times I delete the app, restart my device, factory reset it, or clean it, my Fitbit refuses to track my calories correctly.

It’ll work for like a day then I have to reset it all over again because it simply does not work.

Sometimes it’ll only track my sleep up to one hour. I’ve messaged support several times and still have this issue.

Hi @creepystreet -  a couple of things to check.

You're only using one device running the Fitbit App.

In the Fitbit App, device/account page you only have the Versa 4 connected.

Versions of the new V4 Fitbit App can also lose connection making syncing erratic.

See Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

My versa 4 is the only device connected to my account and my Fitbit app is up to date.

I really don’t want to have to keep factory resetting my Fitbit to get it to work or have to screw around with the Bluetooth everyday

@creepystreet - it may be a step too far to factory reset to be able to sync.

But while things aren't working normally you have no options but to reestablsh connection.

Try turning off Bluetooth at night and run the watch in standalone mode. This can allow it to solely concentrate on monitoring instead of syncing if there is s problem.

Logging out of the Fitbit App and swiping off the active window (in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it also) and then restarting watch and phone if necessary is way simpler than a factory reset.

If the watch Bluetooth entries are corrupt they may need recreating.
