New Versa 4 not registering heart rate regularly. Also turning itself off in middle of run.

the heart rate goes in and out. Show lines then the heart rate no matter
what I do. Stationary or moving. In and out. Never constant. If I’m running
I lose zone minutes. Also none of my versa3 straps work. I think I got a
defective watch.

Most Versa 3 bands should work on the Versa 4. Is it not clicking in?

 

I have had problems with the HR in the past due to not wearing the watch either tightly enough or having it right over dark coloring in tattoos. Something to consider.

 

I assume you have tried the age old shutdown phone, reboot watch, reboot phone?
