I have a new Versa 4. The skin temperature feature is not working. It just keeps saying to wear it for 3 nights while sleeping, which I have for 5 nights now. Very disappointing that a lot of features don’t work on this expensive device.

Hello, @Levski. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products into consideration.
Please note it typically varies over the course of a night. Factors that may cause skin temperature to vary include changes in room temperature, bedding, circadian rhythm, menstrual cycle, or the onset of a fever. Note that significant changes in ambient temperature may negatively impact skin temperature tracking. For more information, see How can Fitbit help me track my temperature?
Hope that helps.

Thank you but this copy & paste reply does not answer my question and concern as to why my Fitbit is not tracking my skin temperature.

Same thing happened to me. I went through all their trouble shooting tips to no avail. They finally sent me a new watch. I’m on day two and hoping that the skin temperature feature will work after one more nights sleep.

I'm having the same problem and have been since I bought my watch. You're exactly right it's too expensive of a device for the product not to work properly or as promised.

I am having same issue. It worked on my Sense 2 but not working on my Versa 4. I have tried all the suggestions in the community and still not working. It’s bees 6 days and multiple restarts and no change. I also can’t get my snore detection and report back. I think this watch has faulty sensors or buggy firmware.

Same here, had the Versa 4 for 10 days and no Skin Temperature displayed. However, if I look at Health Metrics, it displays Skin temperature. There must be a bug with the software since the data shows up one place and not the other... Please fix this!

I’ve had my Versa 4 for three weeks and sleep with it on every night. Still no skin temperature reading. I’ve done everything as prescribed. Nothing has fixed it. Anyone have any solutions?

I‘ve had mine on day & night for 3 weeks and skin temperature isn’t tracking either. Have also tried everything suggested & updated app. What do you suggest @MarreFitbit ?

I discovered that my skin temperature measurements appear within the Health Metrics sub menu. But the Skin Temperature module on my home screen does not display it. I have removed it by holding my finger down on it and clicking the “X” in the top right corner of that module. Then I clicked “Done” at top right to save my home screen settings.

Thanks for your reply. It’s not appearing in Health Metrics either & I’m thinking my Fitbit might be faulty.

You may, as I have, find the home screen badge does not work, while the health metrics --> Skin Temperature does. It seems the Home Screen badge does not show data, ever. It can be removed by pressing and holding the badge.
Hope this helps, and one day maybe they will fix it.
In the Heath Metrics section, the same skin temperature variation is displayed as +/- from a long term baseline. The true skin baseline temperature is never know. Only a variation.

I did the same thing. The Versa replaced a Sense and it's been disappointing. I've learned to live without checking this metric!

I received my new Versa 4 December 12, 2022. I have worn in most every night guy and I have not been able to have my temperature recorded. The firmware is updated. Is there a particular clock face that includes this as an app?

So many people are having problems with this. I got the Versa 4 because it had this & other features & expect them to work! Will look into getting a replacement.
