I upgraded to a Versa 4 and it's not counting my steps correctly.

That's not enough to go on. You say you upgraded. Is this acting differently? From what?
Not counting correctly? Do you mean it was off 1 step out of ten thousand? Did it give you an extra step? Miss a step?
While you were on a treadmill? During some particular activity?
"Not correctly" is far too vague to be able to able to offer any advice about.

Full agreement with @JohnnyRow . @cstenger , we need more information rather than simple "it doesn't work". What exactly doesn't work, symptoms, usecases, etc.

Same here. It will not track my steps. Walked this morning and it gave me 2,200 steps. Then by 10am it reverted to 1050. Then I decided to bike for an hour and nothing, no steps counted. at around 1pm I went for a walk (to see if it would log my steps) got up to 1886 steps at two I looked down at my watch and I was back at 1050. It seems to be stuck at 1050. The Versa is not even 6 months old.

Also, I already rebooted the Versa and the Cell, seemed to make it worse.

Hi @cstenger @Noreysol. Welcome to the Fitbit community.
Thanks for the inquiry regarding accuracy of steps.
Keep in mind the algorithm is designed to look for intensity and motion patterns that are most indicative of people walking and running. When working at a desk, cooking, or performing other activities with arm movements, a device on your wrist may add some steps. When you’re doing activities that involve arm movement, such as working or cooking, you often walk a few steps in-between stationary periods as well, so the device tries to give you credit for those steps. For most customers, the number of extra steps added by arm-based movement isn’t significant when compared to your overall stats.
If you consider the steps are not accurate, please make sure that you've tried the restart procedure as described in this article, then check if you continue to experience the same behavior. In the meantime, you can find more useful information about the accuracy of Fitbit devices and how to adjust your stride length and dominant hand settings here.
Thanks for participating @JohnnyRow @t.parker
