Ive travelled for a living for a while. My old Versa 2 used to update automatically with each time zone change, sometimes multiple time zones per day. Suddenly the app updated and the automatic part stopped. I now had to update to manually. I got a Versa 4 that has never updated my timezones changes automatically. All the settings are correct, automatic time zone and everything. Its driving me crazy!!
I know how to do it manually but I shouldnt have to. The app and watch should just work. Ive gone thru the text help with Fitbit a couple of times but each time the person helping me fails to understand the true problem and just walks me thru the manually sync, which I already know and to do cuz I have to do it multiple times a day when Im working.
Could anyone who is on here and has any influence please get the Fitbit or Google people to just fix the app so the time updates when the watch syncs?? That would make me so happy… and not be late to my flight when I happen to forget to manually sync my watch in the timezone I happen to be in for a few hours.

Hi @Jaybob321 - you are right the automatic time should work automatically but unfortunately Google decided to rewrite the the Fitbit App in September 2023 and the current release isn't as fully developed and can easily lose the ability to sync, and new versions of it often introduce new issues. It may not have been tested on as many phones as the previous release either.
Google don't provide any archive facility to install the previous release which was more stable and had better functionality and presentation which was preferred by many users.
