Versa 4 won't vibrate when I receive notifications

Hi,

I have changed to a new Versa 4 watch a few days ago and have noticed that although I’m getting notifications on my watch, it’s not vibrating to let me know when I have one. I’ve tried all the trouble shooting steps and I may then get the odd one or two vibrating notifications it then it stops again.

My phone is an iPhone 14 if that’s relevant and when I had my previous watch, notifications with vibration were working fine.

Any help is much appreciated, thank you.

Hi there, @Flosnana. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is not tracking your sleep data. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Have you checked whether your Versa 4 vibrates for other features like your alarms, step goal, etc.? If it's not vibrating at all, it's very likely that your Fitbit device is on sleep mode. When sleep mode is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist. To wake your tracker, firmly tap the screen twice.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.

On a side note, I'd recommend taking a look at this help article Why didn't my Fitbit device alert me?
