Versa 4 will only work if it is on the charger. When. I take it off I get a partial screen flash and then nothing. When I press the side button there is a very faint vibration. I have factory reset and updated and wiped the charging port already.

Hi there, @Eeshaul. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is not working unless it's connected to the charging cable. I understand how annoying this can be, I will do my best to help you with this!
As a first approach, please note that sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working. Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.
When it has had two hours, try restarting your Versa 4. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.
If the above doesn't work, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Hello,
It was allowed to charge all night on a new charger that was attached to an outlet that successfully charged a phone. I didn't attempt to restart it at that point but unfortunately it continues to die as soon as it is removed from the charger.

Hi @Eeshaul - if you look in the forums quite a few people have a similar problem, many after updating the firmware.
As you can't use the watch you could try a factory reset while on charge, if it's possible, and wait for it to complete.
Once you have the setup display instructions showing remove the watch from charging.
If the watch stops it confirms a watch hardware problem, if not set it up again.
