Versa 4 - Unable to setup

I am trying to setup my newly bought versa4, but so far I have been unsuccessful. Nothing is coming up on screen after turning it on, and screen stays black. I have also tried 10 second reset and it doesn't work. All I can feel is device vibration upon pressing power button. The device was left on charging for couple of hours before setup. I wasn't able to connect my device with the app. Can anyone please help?

Hi @gpal28

Have you tried holding down the button for 10-15 seconds (reboot) to see if that fixes things?

Edit---

Sorry I just realised you mentioned you've already tried that.

Hi @gpal28, welcome to our Community!

Thank you very much for the steps you already tried in order to improve your situation I understand how you must be feeling.

I recommend you the following steps, some of them you have already tried but the order to follow is also very important:

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Try setting up your device again.
  3. Turn your Fitbit device off and back on. See How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  4. Turn your phone off and back on.
  5. Try setting up your device again. If you have trouble connecting your watch to Wi-Fi, see Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi?
  6. Try setting up your device again.
  7. Remove all other Fitbit devices from your Fitbit account. For instructions, see How do I set up my Fitbit device?
  8. Remove your Fitbit device from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone or tablet:
    • On your phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth.
    • Tap the informationor gear icon next to the name of your Fitbit device.
    • Find the option to forget the device.
  9. Try setting up your device again.
