Want data recorded but don't want goals

If I want my daily steps recorded, why do I have to first set a goal.  Can I just not get them recorded and then look at when I wish.  I don't need my Versa going into a fit of frenzied vibrating when I reach  goal.

Same with heart rate zones. I want to see how I did on zones but I don't want to set a goal.  I just want the data and not a buzzy reward or whatever you want to call it.

I'm a big boy now.  I don't need a reward for reaching a goal.  I just want to see how I did.

Thanks

Hi @Altoid4ever - for most you have the option to set absurdly high goals to avoid the rewards and singing and dancing, for move reminders they can be turned off.
