WhatsApp notifications are not coming through my Versa 4

Hello!

I’m not getting WhatsApp messages with my Versa 4. People are messaging throughout the day, but despite this the Fitbit hasn’t picked it up, so when I go into Fitbit settings WhatsApp does not appear in the settings to allow notifications. 

How do I get WhatsApp to be visible in the Fitbit app so I can allow notifications? I can’t see any settings in WhatsApp on my iPhone that could be blocking anything.

Tap Icon at top left on the "Today" screen → Tap "Versa 4" → Scroll DOwn and tap "Notifications"  → Tap "Textmessages" → Make sure it is set to "On", and Select "Whatsapp".

Have you tried what @LokeAa recommended? By any chance, are you setting up notifications on your Versa 4? If so, please note you'll need to receive a message from the app desired in order for your app to show it as option in your Fitbit notification section. For example, tell someone to send a WhatsApp, then check your Fitbit app and you'll see that WhatsApp is already an option to be selected. @MarreFitbit   What? That does not make any sense. 

How will he be able to see the "WhatsApp" option if it does not appear until someone has sent a WhatsApp message - which cannot possibly reach the watch when the WhatsApp option does not appear until a WhatsApp message reaches the watch. Something that can't possibly happen as long as the WhatsApp option doesn't exist before.....and so on....and so on....

Thanks - you’ve nailed the situation. It’s really frustrating! 

I don’t have the three dots option in my Fitbit app, just the toggle switch for text messages:

There is one notification setting you might not be aware of. From tody screen - tap icon in upper left corner -  Tap your device - Scroll down to WhatsApp - Tick the box - and hopefully WhatsApp shows up jn Text messages.
