When will Fitbit smartwatches have eSim?

When will FitBit support eSim in one of its smartwatch range? I’ve been supporting the Fitbit versa ever since Fitbit bought out Pebble. However, I’m disappointed to see the new FitBit versa 4 does not support eSim. I skipped getting the 3 because it didn’t have celular support. I’ve been hanging out for the next model hoping this would be the one. All other major smartwatch manufacturers have at least one in their range that supports celular. Crazy that Fitbit does not. Unfortunately now I’m looking to change. 😞

@TheTonks   This is a guess, but I bet the Fitbit OS can't handle this technology.  The Google Pixel watch, rumored to be released in October, will use Wear OS 3.  It is supposed to have an LTE model.

I'm moving your post to the Versa 4 forum.  This forum doesn't get a lot of traffic and I think you will get more responses in the Versa 4 forum.  I think you have a lot to share with this question.
