First of all the fact that I couldn't find a "general" thread is already indicative of the mismanagement of this company. I have a comment regarding two different watch model purchases. There is not a thread where I can comment about my purchase experience or rather nightmare.
If you think people are going to do business with a company that can't cancel or modify orders before they ship you're mistaken. I've had 5 of your watches and my wife 2. I bought 3 for xmas and wanted to modify it to 2(someone decided they wanted a diff brand). I called two hours after placing the order(order placed 0830 called at 1030) and was told I'd have to wait for them to be delivered and return what I don't want. Do you realize how ridiculous that is? It's literally sitting in the warehouse and you're going to pay money to send it to me then pay money for me to print a return label and send it back when I'm telling you now DON'T SEND IT>>>KEEP IT. So now I'm going to send ALL THREE back, buy Samsungs and NEVER use your products again because I will not do business with incompetence. Congrats

@raptorsan4375 Sorry to hear about your negative impression about Fitbit's ordering system. And if it would be as easy and simple as you tend to believe, you'd be completely right.
But the reality is quite different. To make shipments as rapid as possible, Fitbit has quite a few logistic centers all around the world. If you place an order, the logistic center that is locally next to you and has enough stock of your order is most immediately instructed to make your order ready for shipment. At the same time a partner for delivery is instructed to get your order from the repository as soon as possible to get it to you.
As you can see, there are quite a few hands involved to fulfill your order. And this whole process is sometimes not that easy to stop. But in most cases you simply can decline acceptance if you have made an error during your order and didn't notice it in time.

STILL PENDING AFTER FOUR DAYS BUT CAN'T CANCEL
I ordered it four days ago. It still has not shipped so it's not that speedy. I've placed orders with Amazon since I've place this order, have been able to modify those AND received the items. The purpose of this post is to point out that Fitbit's process however you want to word it is not logistically competitive with other online retailers particularly if you can't even cancel an order within 2 hours of placing it. I'd understand if it were same day next day shipping but again it's STILL sitting in a warehouse and if Fitbit didn't purchase/negotiate a logistical system that allows it's customers to cancel/modify "pending" orders then Fitbit will suffer the loss of business.
