The updated version of the Fitbit app is USELESS. The sole reason I got the Fitbit was to check if my workouts are in my fat burn zone. The old version of the app showed number of minutes spent in fat burn zone of my heart rate, and also a percentage.
This helped regulate workouts to ensure we could stay in the zone we wanted.
it didn’t measure ACTUAL fat burn - I understand that’s not possible. But it measured the PERCENTAGE of the workout spent in fat burn heart rate zone.
now this useless app just shows completely irrelevant metrics throughout the day. Instead of the precise heart rate zones during a workout. The graphs are hard to read and understand and worst of all it doesn’t show heart rate fluctuation DURING a workout.
which genius’ stupid idea was it to delete the most useful feature of the app???

Hi, @Lybl , I totally agree! Hopefully Fitbit is working on bringing that back! I’m not really sure whether this is a bug or a deliberate change, but it is definitely an unwelcome one, if so.
I checked in the Product Feedback Forum, and the closest entry, with I think the most votes so far, is this suggestion . It is a little muddled because it mixes the editing issue with the HR graphs issue (the former is, I am pretty sure, a bug, and anyway Fitbit has acknowledged it as an issue). Nevertheless I would recommend voting for it, and adding your comments - and do check for any other similar suggestions. The more votes the more clear it is to Fitbit that this is important to people.

Thank you so much for your reply! I’m glad to see I’m not th only one. It used to give me such a boost, the ONLY reason I bought a new Fitbit especially because I want to know that my workouts - are in the fat burn zone. I even read up on it when I saw it first on Fitbit.
I saw another thread where someone was saying ‘well Fitbit can’t know how much fat you burnt’ but that’s not the point. It’s staying in the fat burn zone DURING a a workout.
om glad to see the comments. I really don’t know which dumbass thought this a good idea

For workouts, it still does. It's just "fat burn" has been renamed to "moderate":
At least, on Android app (not sure about iOS).
