This runs contrary to their whole "Fitbit by Google" marketing strategy. I couldn't help but scratch my head when I saw that when setting up my watch.
If Google thinks they can keep it off the Fitbit watches to make the Pixel Watch look better, that seems like a huge mistake.

Hi, @ahanimakh , unfortunately no one on this forum can answer questions like that and I don’t think Google is likely to explain its corporate strategic decisions.

Apparently, no info on why Google had put Alexa instead of Google Assistant on the Sense 2 and Versa 4.

Hi @ahanimakh - the supposition that Google Assistant is missing on the Sense 2 and Versa 4 to favour the Pixel watch wouldn't make commercial or marketing sense.
As @Julia_G says, we aren't privy to the actual strategy behind it.
