Thinking of buying versa 4, my main exercise is swimming, will it record my heart rate on a swim automatically  will it recognise that I’m doing a workout?

Regarding your inquiry, please note that heart-rate tracking is disabled during your swim workout. For more information, see How do I track swims with my Fitbit device?
