Will the Versa 3 charger work with Versa 4?

I know it's too early to tell, but I hope the charger from the 3 will work on the 4. I think I'm in on this upgrade.

It is unsure if the charger will last or work better and as features have been removed on the versa 4 it probably is not an upgrade.

It may have a shorter battery life given the GPS only lasts 5 hours where it lasted 12 hours on the versa 3.

I have used fitbit stepcounters over years and one thing what allways is new is charger. at least i hope this time they use usb c for connection or old versa 3/sense charger will match.

According to the official Fitbit Twitter account the charger for the 3 will work with the 4.

@datalore- that's awful news if the same charger can be used on a Versa 4, given the huge number of problems with it.

@datalore  - what watch do you have now?

And how is it an upgrade when it doesn't have features that older watches have? Seems more like a downgrade.

I have the Versa 3. I’ll look at the specs of the 4 and see if it makes sense to get the 4. I’m still a little salty about the approach to swimming and the lack of deep swim stats.

about year ago i felt into salt water and versa 3 still works fine. but i must say there is not much things to upgrade from 3 to 4. for me physical button and hope that gps is working better than versa 3. but thats all for upgrade.

@datalore   The promos mention 40 workouts, but the full list isn't available.  Perhaps Fitbit found a slot for open water swimming.
