Workout Setting on Versa 4 no longer calculating steps

Hello, my Versa 4 is no longer calculating my step count when I complete a workout using the Workout setting. That's why I would always choose this particular setting because it was an easy way to know my step count regardless of the workout. I have rebooted both the watch and my phone and have resynced several times just FYI to avail. Please help. This is a bit disappointing 😞
