Versa 4 Set up process

I upgraded from a Versa 2 to a Versa 4. it appears to be paired but the download progress bar does not stop moving. The watch has a partial "j' shaped red bar. Watch shows phone calls, pulse etc.. but the iPhone bar continues to move like it is in progress. Window says do not close or interrupt download..  

Is this normal?

Thank you for sharing that your Versa 4 is paired but the download progress bar appears yet on your iPhone. 

The update to your Versa 4 may be taking longer than usual; try to keep it connected to the charging cable and close to your phone while the process finishes. 

If you can't get the update to complete, I suggest you try setting up your Versa 4 as new:

  1. Open the Fitbit app.
  2. Tap the account icon in the top left corner.
  3. Choose “Add more devices.”
  4. Select the picture of your Versa 4.
  5. A message will appear that says “replace your Versa 4,” tap OK.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
