re-paring the versa 4 to the android galaxy a13 phone.

my versa 4 stopped communicating with my phone a few days ago. I have done a factory reset on the versa 4 and uninstalled the app and re-installed it. It still won't pair.

I installed the fitbit app on my tablet and it paired with the versa 4, but that is not what I need.

The galaxy A13 will BT pair with other devices other than the fitbit. So the phone is good. I am lost for a thought as to how to correct this issue. Any suggestions (Other than getting an Apple Watch)? I used the versa 4 with the glance watchface to have access to my blood glucose numbers so I didn't have to pull out my phone all the time.

It happens to me too and when my versa 4 turn on start flashing with the logos and seconds letter a big red X shows in the screen and than the logo again and then the list of language, and my phone start looking for my versa and stuck in there.  I contact customer support and they say that I have to wait for a new software...that they don't know when it going to come out.  So to this point I don't know what to do, I really love fit bit, and in the past two years I have issues year by year.. Let see what happen.

I'm in the same boat. Asking for set-up but won't connect to my app to set-up. It's not a watch or a tracker at this point. They don't seem to care about it, and that's infuriating!

I'm in the same boat too.  Have not gotten any help.  I've had several fitbits in the past, had issues with all, but received help with the others.  So frustrated, thinking going with a different brand of smart watch.  These are too expensive not to work!!!!!

This is happening to me as well. I am very frustrated. Nothing hass worked. I am sorry I do not have answers. I like my fitbit and have had some variation for years. This issue is very upsetting because the factory reset does not even turn my fitbit back on. I am ready to go to another smartwatch.

Same thing with my versa 4. I have uninstalled, re-installed app,  factory reset device, turned phone on and off, turned Bluetooth on/off. Now I can't get past the setup screen on device and the app can't find the device, even with multiple restarts on device.

I can see I am on the same both as you.  Now the 'intelligent watch' is so dummy that it does not even show the time!

I just tried to synch my V4 with my tablet and now it worked...  I would prefer to have it link with my cell A13 Samsung but at least for now I have a watch showing me the simple thing like the time... not sure if I will be able to have it back to my phone but for now I will let time go.

Mine is the same.  My V4 won't connect to my phone, but it will connect to my Samsung tablet.  When I do a reset I also get the big red X.

I have been having this problem for 2 days now.  I have done all the normal things to fix it.  I un-installed and restarted everything.   I can get it to tell me fitbit found but then it tries to give me the code but it never shows up and I get a message that something went wrong and it try again.  The time isn't even correct anymore.   It was perfectly fine 2 days ago

Dare I say that this is only happening since  a company called Google got involved with Fitbit. Have they never heard the old adage "If it ain't broke don't try to fix it"?

 It's the new update from Google/Fitbit that caused the issue. I saw a fix on another area here and it said to download an older version. Google the older fibit download. I downloaded the older version and was able to pair my device! Then go into Google Play and turn off auto updates so the app doesn't update.

This is happening to me also. My wife has a Luxe and a I have a charge 5, neither will pair with Samsung A13 phone.

Same issue. Sucks to have a watch that doesn't even show time. Has had this issue since Tuesday.

Update: They say they know about it and the engineers are working on it. (I guess a rollback to a last good version is out of the question). Joni said they will post on the community when it is corrected. No notification will be emailed.
