re-paring the versa 4 to the android galaxy a13 phone.

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

my versa 4 stopped communicating with my phone a few days ago. I have done a factory reset on the versa 4 and uninstalled the app and re-installed it. It still won't pair.

I installed the fitbit app on my tablet and it paired with the versa 4, but that is not what I need.

The galaxy A13 will BT pair with other devices other than the fitbit. So the phone is good. I am lost for a thought as to how to correct this issue. Any suggestions (Other than getting an Apple Watch)? I used the versa 4 with the glance watchface to have access to my blood glucose numbers so I didn't have to pull out my phone all the time.

Help please

My husband got his versa 4 three months ago. He has had no problems with all this mess going on and his phone is android version 14. My phone is android version 10. Ugh. So I have to get a new phone to use my new Versa 4?? Unbelievable.

I feel slightly lucky that I am in a posotion to send my 2nd versa 4 back and get refunded, however I am thoroughly peed off with what I am coming across with the issues. I have been a fit bit customer probably 10 years and have purchased many fitbit trackers and the monthly subscription. I liked the fact that all my data was in the app from all of those years despite switching devices because they packed up, but after reading and research I have decided to cut my losses and try/move to Garmin

That would be ok if they would replace the Versa 4 for a Pixel watch!  I had to save up for my Versa 4 I can't afford to keep swapping my smartwatch every two minutes.  I will terminate my Fitbit premium contract too - no point in paying for something I can't use.

We're currently investigating a syncing issue affecting some Android users. Thanks for your patience while we work on a fix

Useful - I'm presuming they can't find one,

I have done exactly that...I have read that the garmin offers all the extra benefits you get with fitbit premium for free. I am not paying anymore to fitbit, they have had enough out of me. From what I have seen regarding the google take over, I don't think they should be selling the versa now

I have just had this, via Messenger, where I have been trying to get help for a couple of days. Looks like they have a new version, but have not rolled it out yet, for some reason.....

Who has a new version? Samsung or Google/fitbit?

try reloading the app today, it might fix your problem. I have android 13, and as another poster said she downloaded the fitbit app today (Nov 1st) and it worked for her. So I tried it and it worked for me as well.

Thank you for posting on this. After your post I also downloaded the fitbit app this am and lo and behold, it started working again. I no longer have to take my tablet around with me using my hotspot on the phone as the internet connection.

Thanks again for sharing this news.

It worked! I re-installed the Fitbit app today and it finally worked this
time. To those of you who did the legwork in contacting Fitbit about the
issue and for updating the thread, thank you so much! What a great
community we have here. You guys rock! I'm so glad it's working again after
a week of being an expensive paperweight. Have a great weekend everyone 😊
