I'm trying to use fitbit pay and I want to connect my Fitbit versa 4 to my my bank card. after after multiple attempts i must conclude something is wrong with Fitbit. The bank is checked an they confirm that everything is ok on their behalf. Also the telephone company is contacted and als there is nothing wrong.

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Versa 4. First, please check if your bank is supporting Fitbit Pay:

Banks & Transit Supporting Fitbit Pay 

Your Versa 4 can be switched from Fitbit Pay to Google Wallet. I'd like to point out that this is a one-way process, though. So, alternatively you might want to see if your bank is supporting Google Wallet:
