On wireless earbuds yes. I have a pair of BT Bose. Works great. You just answer by touching the green call button on the watch or decline by pressing the red, I know you can press a button on the ear buds but can’t find it quickly.
You do need your phone near you, in a pocket or case on you, or near by.

The Versa is not a cell phone. It does have the capability of letting you accept or decline calls.
IF you are wearing wireless Bluetooth earbuds or earphones that have a microphone, you can accept the call by pressing the green call light. Then you can talk through your ear buds via your Versa which is connected via Bluetooth to your phone.
It’s a hands free convenience while you have your phone stored on you while walking or running etc. I use mine the most while mowing or working on my tractor.
You can decline calls by pressing the red call light. Sends calls directly to voicemail.
You can always just use it as notification of calls and use your cell directly.
I hope this helps.

You can get a Samsung watch with LTE and pay a monthly cellular connection fee to make and receive calls. No Fitbit can do that right now.

So I have a Apple phone so can I text back on my versa?

No you can read texts on your Versa. You can set up notifications for several apps including emails, messenger, etc. There isn’t a keyboard to answer texts or emails. Just a convenience when you phone is in your pocket or just nearby.

My Fitbit Versa will not give me the option to accept calls, only reject calls. How can I can this? I am using a Samsung S8. I made sure all my permissions were enabled etc. I have tried everything. Why wont it give me that option? All it shows is incoming call with the name and the reject button on the top.

Are you using Bluetooth earbuds connected to your Versa? There isn’t a microphone on the watch, you need earbuds with a microphone to answer calls.
You can view and reject without earbuds, but to talk you do. It’s a convenience when your phone is nearby but out of your hand,

No, just in general. When I have an incoming call. I only get the reject option. It doesn't let me answer. No ear buds in place.

No idea. If you have it on in the settings on the Versa and phone, it should show both. Try some ear buds even if it’s in the phone. It works fine on my iPhone.
Some one with a Samsung should jump in and see if there is an extra step or trick to it.

From what I'm learning, you can only make or answer calls if you have Bluetooth earbuds on

One time this came in really handy for me was when I left my phone at a movie theater. By the time I realized I didn't have it, another movie was running in the theater. I assumed it got wedged in the seat while watching the movie. The Bluetooth on my Fitbit was connected to the phone from the theater lobby so my husband called my phone, I answered it on my Fitbit, and he was able to hear where the phone was. Turns out it was not in the theater, it was in the security guard's pocket. He was trying to steal it. Busted!
