Just got it and can't get the Versa to start

I just got a Versa and can't get it to connect to my iphone6s or to even work.

I started charging it a bit, and then turned it on (left + bottom right buttons) and now it's showing a series of "demo" slides of functionality.

I can't start the watch or anything like that, and even when I reset using the same buttons it just goes back to "demo mode".

Continued to charge it and tried connecting to the iphone but it does not recognize it at all... This has been going on for a few hours.

Is the watch "on"? How do I sync it?

Thanks!

If there is stuff showing on the screen, yes it is on, but it doesnt sound as if it is working normally. Try a Factory Reset and see if it then shows, and try following the instructions in the Article Setting up. If you have difficulty try Why Cant I set up my Tracker?  If it wont set up you will need to return it to where you bought it or contact Support (link in my signature)

FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.

If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up.  Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

Thanks Nelly,

I tried the 3-button reset and I get to the part where I release the bottom right button and wait for the vibration, which does not come. The screen is black for as long as I keep the left and top-right buttons pressed. When I release them I get back to "demo mode".

Seems like this is not working...

I'd be happy for additional help

Yes,I got a demo watch by mistake which was unusable.
I returned it and got an actual watch instead.
