Help me. I bought a new phone, honor v10 and versa don't sync with the phone.

I had a honor 8 and never had a problem with that.

There is something I can do? Help me please.

@Itojeira Let's try this:

  1. Unpair (remove) Versa from your old and new phone's bluetooth settings. Turn the old phone bluetooth off
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit mobile app
  3. Reboot your new phone and install Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair.
  4. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  5. Login to Fitbit mobile app
  6. Grant all permissions and force sync.

I already did that.

Wen I did, the first synchronization went well but a few minutes after, I tryed to sync and always get a exclamation point.

Hello @Itojeira, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. It;s nice to see you too @Marrrmaduke, thanks for all your help. Smiley Happy

@Itojeira, I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. If you have already tried the troubleshooting steps provided by @Marrrmaduke and you're still having trouble syncing your Versa, please try the following:

  • Make sure the latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your phone.
  • The software on your mobile device is up to date. To check, tap Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Make sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around as they might interfere with the syncing process
  • Check that your Fitbit device's battery isn't critically low.

If your device still won't sync, try these steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth off and back on.
  3. Open the Fitbit app.
  4. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart your phone again.
  5. Open the Fitbit app.
  6. If your Fitbit device didn't sync, restart it one more time.
  7. If your Fitbit device won't sync after the restart, log in to your Fitbit account on a different phone, tablet, or computer and try to sync.
  8. If your Fitbit device still doesn’t sync, remove all other Fitbit devices from your account and from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your mobile device and try to sync.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else.

@Itojeira I am wondering if Versa is still looking for your old Honor phone. At some point, I had mine paired with several devices and it was a mess. Even though I unpaired it, it still would hiccup all the time. Of course the only way to make sure you have a clean start is to perform a factory reset and set up Versa from scratch. It's a daunting task I know, so perhaps before doing that, you could give the tips posted by @MarcoGFitbit a shot. Especially if you have other bluetooth devices paired. You can also try downgrading Fitbit mobile app. Honestly, the most stable build for me is 2.74.2. That's what I am currently running. You can find the apk file on the internet and install it in place of the current Fitbit mobile version. If these tips fail, I would perform a factory reset. Remember to sync (if you can), then unlink Versa from your Fitbit account and remove it from Paired Devices list in your phone's bluetooth settings before performing factory reset.

Thanks for your help. How can I do a factory reset?

@Itojeira Open Settings on your Versa, scroll down to About and Tap Factory Reset. This will wipe all data on your Versa and you will have to set it up again. If you can sync, do that. Also, please remember to remove Versa from your Fitbit mobile app and from the Paired Devices list in your phone Bluetooth settings. Reboot your phone and perform factory reset of Versa. After Versa is wiped and displays Setup screen, please add it as a new device in your Fitbit mobile app. Grant all permissions and set up everything again.
