Blutooth speaker not pairing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello

I have a Shabra bluetooth speaker that will not pair with my Versa. It will pair to my phone. I deleted the speaker from my phone and it still wont pair. I've reset my versa. Turned bluetooth off on phone. I'm at a loss and irritated. I can use it with my phone but not my Versa.

My first thought was to turn off the phones BT .

Ok @Habrad when you say that it won't connect, at what step does it fail.

Does the Versa see the speaker?

Have you checked How do I connect Bluetooth audio devices to my Fitbit watch?

Hello
Thank you for reply. The versa doesn't even see the speaker. I can pair it
( versa) with other bluetooth speakers ie: headsets and other bluetooth
speaker but not this one. This one is on a lanyard that I can wear and
would be convenient for my work and gardening where I don't want to or
can't wear a headset. I have looked at what you suggested to no avail.
Stumped.

Let's make sure that any other device the speaker has ever been attached to is at least 50, preferably more than, away or lets turn bluetooth on the devices.

Now I would turn the speaker off. Most speakers are only in visible mode for the first minute after they are turned on.

Let's now go to the Versa / settings / Bluetooth / add device.

Now let's turn on the speaker and see if the versa finds it.

Had to reset Versa back to factory defaults. I lost all of the music I spent hours downloading.

Frustrating 😡😠

@jlb456 unless you are giving the tracker to someone else. There is no reason to do a factory reset.
