Heart Rate measures way too high during exercise

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I purchased by Versa about a week ago.  During rest or casual walking, the heart rate monitor seems to measure accurately.  But during my workouts (usually eliptical) when my heart rate is usually between 110 and 120 according to the machine, my Fitbit is measuring 150-160.  I have turned the monitor off and on and have re-booted a few times, but nothing works.  Suggestions?  I'm thinking of returning this unit.

Thanks. I have tried moving the tracker on my wrist, but still the numbers are way too high. I spoke to FitBit last night, and they said that this is a “known issue” that will be subject of a future update.
