Hi,
Since the Fitbit OS 3.0 update which started rolling out a few days ago, the most common problem/complaint (besides the complaint "when will I receive the update?" ) I've seen is about the Today stats not being shown on the Fitbit device (or the swipe up not working).
A workaround has been posted several times in the Fitbit OS 3.0 - Versa Firmware Release (32.33.1.30) topic, also on the first page by @AlessFitbit, but not many people have read or tried that.
So, I'm creating this topic and hope that people who have this problem might see the solution here.
So, if your Fitbit Versa has been updated to OS 3.0 (Firmware version 32.33.1.30) and you don't see the Today stats when you swipe up from the home screen, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have the latest version of the Fitbit app (version 2.84 on both iOS and Android). If not, update the Fitbit app first.
2. Connect your Fitbit to WiFi and let it relax on the Charger.
3. Open the Fitbit app on your phone. Navigate to the Apps section (highlighted in Red in the screenshot). The screenshot is from Android, should be similar on iOS device.
4. In the MY APPS section, check if the Today app needs an update (although it should update automatically after the Fitbit OS update).
5. Tap on the Today app and see the version and last Updated date. The version should be 33.1.30.c and updated date should be the date your Fitbit received the OS update.
If the version of the Today app is not 33.1.30.c, manually update it, or let it update automatically (connected to WiFi).
If you don't see the newer options (such as Sleep stats etc.) on your Fitbit even after the Today app has been updated, try restarting the Fitbit. It should work after that.

I followed all the instructions but when I go into the today app I have no option to update this either automatically of manually. Any ideas?

What's the version of Today app? If there's no manual update available, it must've been updated automatically.

@Flozzychops try tapping on the today app anyway and you will see if it updated. Then back out and re-sync. I had to do that even though mine was updated to get my water option to show up.

Ok, so I finally got the versa to update tonight after numerous attempts, drops etc. and when I swipe up on the today screen it says I can select up to 7 stats, there are 3 options to check, core stats, steps, hourly. I restarted the watch and it's the same & I have checked the app as directed above, it's the right version but indicates being updated last on the 19th of this month today being the 28th. I've got it "relaxing" in the charger right now and I'm trying to relax myself but this has been a very trying update process. Hoping when I take it off the charger again it will give me my other stats but if not then what?

Same. My Today app is updated and I only have 3 of "7" stats to choose from on the watch. I dont have sleep option. I'm TRYING to get my watch to sync - that's a whole other battle on its own - to see if that brings the other options.

Lmao. And just after I typed my reply, I check my watch again and BOOM. There it is. Oh Versa.

Versa Lite has the same problem and it does not have the capability to connect to WiFi. Updating Today did not work.

Does it matter if the update is 33.1.30 instead of 33.1.30.c? The newer stats are not showing up on my watch.

I have no option to update in any way shape or form...just set up fitbit yesterday 12/31/19 and the version is 32.4.19 but there is no option to update. Only stats shown on device are steps and heart rate with no option to add more
